been talking about and that he hoped for he said it is a serious down payment on the deficit. >> this process has been messy and it's taken too long. nevertheless, ultimately the leaders of both parties have found a way toward compromise. a deal will raise the nation's debt ceiling until 2015 and also promise cuts of $2 billion. a second debt limit increase would prompt one of three scenarios. first a bipart bipartisan committee would have to save

1.5 trillion in 10 years. if not, they must send it to the senate for consideration. the deal would force across the board cuts to government spending including defense and medicare of at least $1.3 trillion. >> to pass this settlement it'll need the support of dell krapts and republican -- of democrats and republicans in the senate. there's no way either party can do it alone. >> reporter: reaching this point has been difficult. especial little for boehner. >> and we can assure the american people tonight that the unite of america will not for the first time in our history default on its obligations. >> reporter: -r and president obama urged members of both parties in both houses to complete the house and approve the deal. and tomorrow the leaders of the democratic and republican

parties will be meeting with the caucuses presenting the deal. it's a little murky on how they're going to schedule a vote. we are going to talk about that more tomorrow. >> it's the middle of the trading day in asian. japan's widely followed nikkei is almost up 22%. china ease composite index is also up by 25%. and while the pieces may be in place to reduce the u.s. deficit and avoid default. until the deal passes both houses there's still a great deal of concern. >> sundays are open house day in the real estate market. >> this is a craft man style house. >> reporter: real estate broker kelson said the real education -- nelson said the real estate

has begun to increase. >> we want the government to come up with a deal so we can move along from this issue. >> reporter: the country's rating would drop sending interest rates up. >> rates have been so low in combination with the rate process. given that there's a lot of great opportunities. this is going to stall the congress even further if they don't get this figured out. we met several buyers that are concerned about the ceiling debt. >> makes me wonder what things are going to look like at the end of the other tunnel. but it's hard to say. i don't have a good deal on what it's going to be. >> reporter: this family is buying a house to sell. but now they have to worry about a mortgage. >> on friday on emergency basis we took you have a the market just to make sure we get a mortgage. >> reporter: another real estate agent is unconcerned. >> i just closed a property in arinda and rockridge and both

weekend of july with some what chilly numbers out there. the fog has been cooling us off and really not a big change in the over all weather pattern over the next few days. right now the maps on live storm tracker 2. no storms out there but the clouds have been increasing. santa rosa at the airport reporting mostly cloudy skies at last check. the clouds will continue to be on the increase as we do head into the overnight hours. this was a scene today looking out toward oakland, clouds on the increase. plenty of breaks but those clouds beginning to thicken up right now. and that will be a big part of our weather forecast for tonight. fog will continue with the increase, clearing skies to near the coast. no major changes here. cool temperatures for the beaches and still some warm numbers showing up inland. first thing tomorrow morning, low clouds and some drizzle out there especially coast side. we're going to start out monday morning, most areas in the low

to mid-60s. sat satellite in the area, there is a very small system to the southwest of the bay area that will be moving on shore tonight. there was a little bit of concern that it could trigger an isolated thunderstorms. it looks like it'll be a few high clouds in addition to the low clouds we're dealing with right now. over the next few days the few extremes, high pressure to our east and also low pressure to our north and west. and those lows are going to win out over the next few days. with that cool temperatures for the beaches. those temperatures only in the upper 50s to 60 degrees. the inland spots, clearing skies. temperatures back up into the mid-80s but no major heat in the forecast. here's our model showing you the cloud cover, first thing tomorrow morning. widespread overcast pulling into the coastline. and that is all we reflected in the forecast for tomorrow
